I found my first five hours in the first four chapters. This book is a keeper.

“Finding five hours a week in this business environment is golden. I wish I read the book years ago.”
– Norman Mayne, Owner

It’s About Time is Harold C. Lloyd’s newest book, designed to help everyone in business find more time by managing time better. Lloyd is convinced that most people waste time at work through poor time management. When you learn to manage your schedule using the techniques in the book, says Lloyd, it’s as if you’ve found five extra hours each week.
It’s About Time recommends that businesspeople start and end each day with a Disappearing Act to help organize their work. The book offers ways to ZAP! the distractions that waste time on the job. You’ll learn how to create and follow To-Do Today lists that really keep you on schedule.
But the biggest surprises in It’s About Time are tips on how to use everyday management tasks to free up more time at work. The book shows how businesspeople can improve delegating skills, run meetings more effectively, and even recruit and hire staff better to maximize time management and take control of their time at work. We waste time with the tasks we do every day, says Lloyd. In It’s About Time, you’ll learn how to use those tasks to help you manage your time, not lose it.
Read It’s About Time, and have everyone you work with read it, too. Then enjoy the extra time you’ll have each week. Let us know what you do with your five extra hours!
Harold C. Lloyd is a natural teacher. Throughout his career in business, he has done a lot—president of a company with 1,000 employees, owner of a franchised business, sought-after speaker in the retail industry, management consultant, college instructor. He learns from his own experiences, and then has a unique way of teaching his ideas to others.
Lloyd is the author of the best-selling book, Am I the Leader I Need To Be? that helps businesspeople find what he calls the Genuine Leader within us.
In this book, It’s About Time, Lloyd helps businesspeople develop another critical skill—time management. I’m convinced that people waste at least five hours every week at work because they don’t know how to manage their time, says Lloyd. When you try the techniques in this book, you’ll reclaim that much time and maybe more by taking control of your own schedule.
Lloyd is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago. He is a devoted father of three and lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia with his wife Deanna.
What does Lloyd do with his extra five hours each week? Golfs, runs, reads, works on projects around the house, writes his next book, and often daydreams.
All of Lloyd’s profits from It’s About Time and Am I the Leader I Need To Be? are donated to national charities.
